Madonna Fancy Dress Look

Why Do You Want A Madonna Fancy Dress Look

One of the funniest things about people, is their ability to follow exactly what others are doing. Everyone claims that they want to be an individual with their own thoughts, own actions, own way of dressing, and this is never the case. People idolize celebrities, following their trends and fads, as if it is going to mean their deaths, if they do not. Why do you want a Madonna fancy dress look, if you are going to be your own person?

This is not an article picking on those who choose to worship Madonna. This is an article asking the question why so many people feel they must dress and act like any celebrity, to be someone. Your own worth comes from within you and should have nothing to do with the way you dress, or the way you look. Look at it this way, would you think so highly of Madonna if she were only a maid in a hotel?

Celebrities are no more special than any other person on the face of the planet. They eat, drink, sleep, defecate, urinate, sweat, pay bills, smoke, flatulate, bleed red, and will die, just like all the rest of us. Why in the world do they deserve any better treatment than any other person?

We tend to follow the trends of the rich and famous because it seems to give us a better feeling about ourselves. We will try to emulate their manner of dress, or foods they eat, or cars they drive, or personalities they exude. Why can we not be happy with who we are, without copying the life styles of others?

Just as stated earlier, Madonna simply has a job which allows her face, and music to be seen and heard around the world. If she were to simply be a cashier in a grocery store, would anyone give her a second look? Besides, if she dressed as a cashier, the way she has dressed on stage, most people would probably not go through her line. But, since Madonna is on stage, and entertains people, her manner of dress is allowed.

There is nothing wrong with people dressing the way they want. That makes us individuals and allows us to show our personalities. It gives us a means to express who we are, what we like, and how we see the world. This is great but, it must be your own choice and not what you have seen someone else wear.

A Madonna fancy dress look is fine for Madonna but, it is fine for you? Is this the face you want to place before the world? Would you truly feel comfortable with wearing very short skirts, with footless tights, and bustiers, instead of blouses? How about ankle boots which were made of leather, and lace gloves without the fingers? If this is what you like, then wear it because you enjoy it, not because someone famous wears it!

The point here is to be your own person. Do not let others dictate to you what is right and wrong to wear! Wear what you are proud to show the world! Put on clothing that makes you feel good and never try to copy others; simply be you!
